could you also explain it i dont have a clue about how you get lime, wot the chemical symbol is or anything. Thank You

CaCO3 ---> CaO (lime) + CO2.

Now, 100g of CaCO3 will give 56g of CaO.

So scale it up to 500 tonnes and you will get to your answer.
