i want 2 know if i got ddr2 667mzfsb ram and mother board,processer support 800mz fsb -what is the computer last fsb speed and is there a connection with ram fsb and motherboard fsb

yes, they're connected. FSB is the speed at which the MB will transmit data between components (as in from the HD to the CPU) or sending it around the MB. the CPU has a stated speed at which it will transmit data, the memory has a stated speed and the MB has a stated speed. everything will work regardless of what stuff you have, BUT it will all travel at the speed of the slowest component. ex: if MB=400 CPU=800 and memory=667 then ALL will operate at 400

667 ram will NOT work in a 800 CPU. However 800 ram chip should work in a 667 CPU. Ram can go down but it can not go up.
