Oh by FAR! where's Memo: Mexican league where's Guzan: EPL enough said. Americans have always been highly regarded for having amazing keepers. Tim Howard is one of the best in the world right now behind stars such as Buffon, Cech, Casillas, and couple more but not many. at Memo's age, Howard was being named to the Best XI in the EPL. If I remember correctly, Friedel is the only keeper to ever stop a PK in the world cup during regulation. i think that says something about him. edit: BQ. howard, obviously.

I think Peter Schmeical was the best keeper in his day. It was rare that anything ever got past him, just his formidable presence in goal was enough to deter most strikers!!
