No she didn't, but the character "Margo Channing" was fashioned from Miss Bankheads stage persona.
Also, Tallulah Bankhead starred in the Broadway play "The Little Foxes" and was a sensation! Bette Davis attended several performances to study Miss Bankheads delivery
and practically copied her in the film version.
