A friend of mine recently admitted to me that when he was in middle school he would flirt with guys and girls. He said he wasnt sure of what he wanted but now that hes older he only likes girls.
I think hes still bi but doesnt want to admit it. He constantly brings up "fags" and "dikes" in conversation as if hes trying to hide who he really is. I used to think he was straight but he had some "tendencies" that would make me wonder. He makes me uncomfortable sometimes because hes always been really clingy and since he told me about his past I think I can see why. My question is: can a person truely outgrow being bi like he claims or is he just covering up who he really is?

It\s possible that he is a latent bi-sexual. That means he could be attracted to either sex but doesn't act on his urges when they involve men.

There are latent homosexuals in society who never have a relationship with anyone of the same sex because they consider it unacceptable for whatever reason.
