most people use a liquid makeup to cover up scars and pimples, then a powder makeup for cheeks and forehead.
i think neutrogena makes an liquid based acne medicine makeup that is tinted to look like makeup but it really heals your skin and wont clog the pores, if you are still having problems with acne. any tinted acne medicine can work really well but sometimes its hard to find them.
also try a mineral based makeup such as Bare minerals ( http://www.bareminerals.com ) i havent tried it personally but i know it is supposed to be light and look very smooth and natural, and it is supposed to be safe on your skin and not cause further breakouts. or just google.com and search for mineral makeups
hope that helps

I think it would be best for you to use a tinted moisturizer. It even tones and covers up acne scars without looking like you have a lot of makeup. Also it gives a glow to your face which is very nice. Secondly, always do your eyes.... even if it is just a kohl pencil.... or just a coat of mascara....... it will open up your eyes... As far as lips, go nude in the beginning. Always use lip balm and use a nude / natual looking shade of lip gloss...... cause it will fade out anyway and you may not get into the habit of reapplying so soon. Therefore as nude lips as possible. Use a little bit of blush if you like..... liquid / cream / gel blush would be good for you cause it looks very natural and as if it is comming from with in. This should be good for a start..... Most important is to remove your makeup before bed.

I think you should try Bare Escentuals or another type of mineral make-up. Neutrogena makes a good one...Get the foundation some blush and a nice lip-gloss and you should be good to go. I'm 19 and just started wearing make-up too and hate to look like I have make-up on so mineral make-up has worked the best for me...Good Luck :)

Use a light foundation that matches your skin tone. If you want to draw attention away from your scars use a nice eyeshadow and a nice lip color.

if u dont want it to look like u have a lot on, just dab on some concealer over spots and scarres and put some foundation on your t-zone(forehead, nose and chin) and then brush some bronzer over our cheecks and down the center of your nose. good luck:):)

A light poweder foundation, some lipgloss, and mascara if you are not trying to overdo it. I love these products. Not too expensive and they work great.
