I don't know how serious is your virus, most of the virus are actually very easy to deal with. I don't like anti-virus programs caz they f** slows down my pc.

normally, you can check to see the virus name by go through down the list on your Task Manager. If there is any name of programs that you are not familiar with, try to End the Process.

As soon as you End the Process, and you realize your virus is gone. That means that was the file anonys you the whole time. So you get down the name of that file, and search it (Start->Search). Find that file and delete it.

Of course this simple process only works for certain anonying files on your pc. Sometimes you have to go to program files to remove it all the way.

If you want any software for free from now on, check out isohunt. Download bittorrent, so you can download all the files on isohunt include the software and key generators.

I dont know of a free virus protection that will get ride of a virus. But just take your harddrive back to factory settings. Its free and will get ride of the virus. YOu comp should have came with a cd rom like a recovery disc just put it in and it will explain what to do. But you will lose any programs that didnt come on the computer and you will have to reinstall. I have done it to my computer thousands of times. i even paid for nor-ton anti virus and still got a virus.

If you have windows, go onto the windows download website and get windows defender and windows live Onecare. Defender works indefinitely, and one care has a 90 day trial period which doesn't obligate u to purchase it at the end of the trial.
