cuz I want to take spanish and home ec. and I olny have two electives so what should I do?!?!?!?!?

That depends on how much you enjoy playing and how committed you are willing to be. If you enjoy practicing and performing, appreciate music, and want to get better at it, that is definitely what you should do. And I cannot overstate the benefits of being dedicated to music.

However, learning a foreign language, especially Spanish, and especially being conversational in it is an immensely valuable skill. (And in this writer's opinion should be required in all public schools.) But this may take some work, and may take several years, before you are fluent in the language. If you enjoy language and are prepared to apply yourself, It is probably worth it.

My personal "bias" is against "home economics," but since I'm a guy that means nothing.

So I guess my conclusion is: it really depends on what you enjoy doing the most. Also, if you decide to put one subject off for a year or two, you can always come back to it later. You have your whole life ahead of you.
