Skinny doesn't mean weak. I like skinny guys, but prefer guys that are healthy and toned. I have never found a guy with huge muscles attractive. And most females don't want a guy who puts more effort into his appearance than she does. We don't generally like going out with guys who have to set dates around their fitness routines and have such a resticted diet it makes us feel uncomfortably piggish if we order dessert or we have to watch you pound down more protein in one sitting than we do in an entire day. If you want to go ultra healthy or become ripped, then do it and find girls who share the same physical interests and goals rather than the common chic. That way you'll be able to keep each other motivated and bask in the beauty you both view as physical perfection.

I think the majority of girls like a fit, toned body. Somewhere in between skinny and muscular. He doesn't have to be ripped or anything, but he should have some muscle tone/definition.

Please don't become obsessed, it's not healthy for your mind and your body will suffer as a result. Just focus on keeping fit and healthy, don't go overboard with the weight training unless you are considering going into competitive body building.

HTH : )

I think girls can be selfish sometime, they would prefer you to pay attention to them, not yourself. I mean, showering, hygiene etc is good but a guy who puts too much time into himself leaves girls wondering if there will be any time for her.

I dont personally feel this way, my husband works out to bulk up. But I wouldnt want him to get too big, I don't find popping vains attractive, when the arm muscles get out of proportion its kinda gross looking too. Like the men on the fitness magazines are mostly too big. Women like guys who are in great shape without a beer gut. Abs and biceps are a plus.

But most importantly, dont think a good body makes up for a bad attitude. Above all else, a woman is attracted to the real person inside.

Bulky men are too over done! why not stop at a nicley toned and defined body. When someone has a body like that it is intimidating and reduclous. To me, It is almost like a obsessive compulsive dissorder that should have stopped a while ago.

Guys look good with a bit of muscle tone, but the bodybuilder types look downright deformed! Less is more. More women would go for a guy who looks like Michelangelo's David than a guy who looks like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger.

It doesn't bother me. Maybe some women get intimidated by a bulky man. My b/f is your size and I'm crazy about him though! Whatever makes you happy. Don't bulk up to get women, do it because it makes you feel better about yourself. who knows though? Maybe you will meet the woman of your dreams at the gym!

Bulky and muscular men are frightening.
They instill the idea of fear into my eyes.
Knowing they could crush me at a single moment.
Someone who could bench press me is not my idea of sexy or attractive.
I don't find skinny attractive.
Hm.
I find someone who takes care of their body [ie: drinks water, works out but doesn't go buff-crazy.] attractive.
