I wanted to ask if it's possible to have a tiny (minute) spot of blood during or after ovulation? I know I was ovulating a few days ago because of the signs & symptoms but I noticed a very small speckle of blood in my cm. I wondered what this could be from? Any ideas please?

I know that implantation bleeding occurs several days after fertilisation. Can you also have small amount of blood during / after fertilisation?

It is possible to bleed at fertilization and just remember that your body is different every month. You could have ovulated earlier than you thought you did and the spot of blood is from implantation. As far as days of fertility go, You are fertile 5 days before because sperm can stay alive for 5 days in the uterus and you are fertile 24-48 hours after ovulation because the egg can live that long. Good luck...

Yes, it is possible to have spotting from ovulation although not everyone gets it. If it happens every month you might even be able to use that as an extra sign that you are ovulating.

Sometimes if you are too rough during intercourse that can happen. What cycle day were you on? If it was a few days after menses your body could still be cleaning itself out. Remember that your body cleans itself out constantly down there.
Good Luck!
