Acidophilus is the product & Bifidus is in it.
I worked in the natural food store for many years & took a class about Acidophilus & when you take an anti biotic it kills all of the bad stuff in our intestines but also our good flora (good bacteria) & by replacing with acidophlius it builds the good back up. If your taking an anti biotic make sure you take it at least 2 hours apart from the acidophilus because the anti biotic will kill the good stuff along with the bad.

Acidophilus is a probiotic that contains many different live cultures to help your intestine and ward off infections.Bifidus is one type of culture that is commonly found in your acidophilus.Yes,I would take an acidophilus that contains more then just the bifidus culture. You'll only benefit from doing so.It will not harm you unless your lactose intolerant.Acidophilus comes from dairy.
