I'm trying to get hold of a short height shower enclosure to fit in a bathroom that has low ceilings (old house with rafters). It needs to be approx. 1750 to 1775mm to fit. Anyone know who stocks one? I have found that the Cairns and Manly models at Homebase are the right size but want something sturdier. I can't find any others at the main DIY stores- Wickes, Focus DIY, B&Q or Bathstore.

Thanks

As you may have discovered most manufacturers have standardised at around 1830-1850 high. There is a very good manufacturer called Roman Limited who offer a very varied range and in certain enclosures can offer them made to reduced height. They do charge a bit more for this service but at least its a proper job when its done rather that a chopped about thing. They have a wide network of displaying showrooms in the UK. You can contact them on
www.roman-showers.com . Hope this helps ......I used to own a bathroom showroom selling their products until quite recently

If you make informed decisions and approach your penny stock investments with the same thoroughness that you’d use in your other investments, you too can unlock a whole lot of profit potential. Learn here https://tr.im/z1EXT

It’s absolutely true that penny stock investors can make very quick gains. Synutra International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYUT) is a great example of a penny stock. This dairy-based, nutritional-products company has jumped from a little Bulletin Board operation to a billion dollar corporation. The company finally graduated from Over-the-Counter status to the NASDAQ Stock Market bringing with it 113% gains in less than two months.

This happens all the time and it’s how some of the best investors in the world became the richest investors in the world. Buying some shares for pennies on the dollar and selling at $10 or $20 is possibly the fastest way from being a hobby investor to a super investor

I had the same problem with my house. What I did was to buy a sturdy enclosure, take it apart, reduce it to fit, minus the glass, then ordered 4mm safety glass, cut to my dimensions and fitted this into the door frame, looks and works a treat.
good luck

Hey Si,

Why not build it yourself? If done right it will add value to the home. Surround your existing tub or base with concrete backer board. Tile and grout over that to rhe exact size you need. All the directions on how to do this are at HGTV.com
