I have recently started getting those pains on each side and my doctor said that it is normal because its my body stretching and as long as there is no bleeding or anything than its fine. But They really trigger when im standing alot at work and sometimes when im just sitting like as we speak. Does this mean that i will begin to start showing soon? Has anyone else had this before and can you please give me some advise? Thank you very much!

I had them a lot from 4 months on. I didnt really show until about 5-6 months.

They hurt like holy hell though. Especially when you're not laying down.

The more active you are the quicker they stretch and stop hurting.

My wife had the same pains. It is all a part of pregnancy. The pains will away feel worse when you stand, so try not to stand for long periods of time. If your job requires a lot of standing then I don't know what to tell you, because the pain will only get worse with the added weight. I wish there was some good news, but at least you know that it doesn't mean that anything is wrong, and soon you will have a precious baby to call your own.

When you're standing at work, try to have a stool or something that you can step up onto. By placing one foot on the stool it will aleviate some of the pressure on your legs, and ease up on the stretching a little. Then, after a little while alternate to the other leg. It does help, honestly.

I suffered from bad pains, and unfortunately it all comes with being pregnant. There isn't really much to can do to get rid of them... Just make sure you're drinking plenty of water and still getting some excercise during the days... Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you just get to do nothing at all.

I took Tylenol for the pain and swam to stay strong and limber. Anything that isn't high impact is good, like riding a stationery bike or using an elliptical machine felt good. I'm super short and my husband is VERY tall so I showed early and I thought I was gonna die. Even strangers asked me if I was having twins or triplets. Thought the old pelvis was gonna break.

I had the same problem when I was pregnant. My doctor told my to do stretches and exercises (of course you'll have to do the one safe for mothers to be) Also, Tylenol, and 2 - 4oz. glasses of RED wine in the evening to help relaxer the muscles. Note, red wine ONLY. You might consider all natural remedies from the health food store ie. tension, stress reducers , maybe a natural muscle relaxer. BUT BE SURE TO OKAY IT WITH YOUR OB/GYN. THIS IS A MUST. What is good for someone elses body may not be safe for you.

I had a lot of pain like yours with my first. I was also working. It freaked me out, I showed a little starting at four months, enough for stretch pants and a bigger shirt, but not enough to "look" pregnant. I made sure during my breaks that I sat down and elevated my feet. It seemed to relieve some of the pressure. Also I wore flats, instead of the little heels.

I had this with all my (3) kids. It's painful but doesn't mean anything is wrong! I worked on my feet and the doctor wouldn't write me out of work. It's normal. Doesn't necessarily mean you'll show soon.

Yep, they are growing pains. Wait until you start to feel your baby move (probably in the next 4 - 8 weeks), it will be soooooo worth it!

I found it comforting to lay down on my LEFT side if you can. If not, walk it off and remember to keep yourslef well hydrated with water. Yes, you will pee a lot (more as you get bigger), but it does help with the growing pains. Good Luck and welcome to Motherhood! :)

yes you will start to show soon and drink alot of water that really helps with the pain. try drinking only water except for milk that shoudl be all you drink right now. good luck. and feel better. oh and my doctor said it was ok to use a heating pad just not on your belly.
