Big Vol, I appreciate all the thought you put into that answer, but I don't agree with you. Houston Nutt made a lot of promises he didn't keep to get Mustain to sign in the first place. Mustain and Malzahn aren't the ones to blame here; Nutt has been a spin doctor to make it loook that way. Don't believe everything you read.

I don't know who's the real bad guy here. But one thing frustrated me, Malzahn had those beautiful trick plays the first half of the year, but Nutt failed to continue using them. UA lost its last 3 games in a row, any one of which might've been won with a single clever play.

As for Mustain, I never saw any evidence that Casey Dick was any better, and moreover Dick seemed absolutely intent on snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in the LSU game. It was atrocious that Nutt refused to put Mustain in there.

Whatever's really going on, I can definitely sympathize with Malzahn and Mustain based on what transpired the second half of the season. McFadden is officially the greatest Razorback of all time, but he'd be pretty great catching some passes too, and that might've kept everyone on the reservation.

For one the type of offense Nutt runs does not require Mitch Mustain or Damian Williams. Second there was no way Nutt could keep Mustain if Malzahn left. Because Malzahn runs a pass heavy offense. We still have what we've always used...the run game. So we don't need to get rid of Nutt. Not yet anyways. Personally I think the problem is Broiles because he couldn't keep Gus Malzahn in Arkansas.

Nutt didn't ruin his team! The sorry ATTITUDE of his QB, ASST. COACH (Mahlzan) and a few other players did! What coach in their right mind is doing to knuckle down the offense to accomodate a FRESHMAN QB who "has the tools", when they already had a 1,000 + yard rusher IN LINE FOR THE FREAKING HEISMAN TROPHY and another guy who rushed for 500 + yards? I hope those punks get what they DESPERATELY deserve! If Arkansas does anything to Nutt over this, it will be a travesty and complete injustice.
