From interview guides I've read, they say use something that can be turned into a strength.
For example, you may say you pay too much attention to details and that sometimes customers complain that their order takes a little longer to complete, but you want to make sure all the details have been covered. You could say that you do this so when the customer comes back, it's because they are happy and not because of poor work!
So something along those lines!

if somebody which all ask in interview to tell ur weaknesses then u should tell the weakness that does not effect ur job for which u are interviewing because take an example if u say u are lazy than it will put bad impression on the person taking interview so don't tell this weaknesses it will increase ur chance of getting selected and if u get the job try to improve and make it ur strong point.

I have had that question in the past and I answered,"My weakness would be that I am sort of a work-a-holic, I enjoy working so much that I would lose myself in my work. I hope you offer overtime here." LOL,something to that affect. I would never say anything negative about me. You are in the interview to boost your talents and show why they should hire you over the other candidates.

That depends on who is asking. When my work supervisor ask about my weaknesses. I list those things that I have problems with. I also ask for help in learning how to get pass the obstacles.
If a friend is asking about my weeknesses, I list those things I wish I could do better.
If you are not a friend or a work supervisor, I HAVE NO WEAKNESSES! (smile)

Make like the Miss America candidates do to this question and say you are too soft-hearted, yada yada. Pick a weakness that makes you look like you care too much or try to fix everything or stretch yourself too thin.

The answer...you've been told that you're a Workaholic. You tend to over-exert yourself on behalf of the company.
That's a weakness any prospective employer would easily accept.

Have a good look at your personality, and at your studies, work experience, etc.Identify the areas you find as not properly attended to so far. Then prioritise them. Identify the one area that needs to be mended urgently. Learn to express that in polite and polished language. That is what you need to tell those who ask such question.

Alot of people answer this differently, and at the same it's also what you're comfortable with. The best way to answer is to give an example of past experience weaknessess and what you've learned from it.
