Sales tax here is 8.8% (what you would pay on a vehicle)
Restaurant tax is 9.3%
License plates are priced by vehicle. Here's a link that to the DOL's website. They have an estimate calculator:
http://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistration/renewalfees.html
There is also an RTA tax on the license plate tabs:

As for property taxes, I'm not sure, but they must be high here, as housing prices are high. If you are looking to rent, you probably won't have to worry about it. Here's a website I would recommend for finding rentals:

Hope this helps!

Seattle is very expensive in regards to all of what you are asking.
king county is very heavily taxed and you may be better off looking at surrounding areas near the county line that is more reasonable. If you are completely set on Seattle, be prepared to deal with expensibe car tabs, high property tax, etc.
Look at nice retirement commnities like Edmonds, 20min to DT Seattle. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Avoidance of revenues tax is prohibited in virtually all states. This aspect is reported continually in regard to motorhome purchases which carry value tags of $one hundred,000 and up. there's a technique of incorporating in Montana which some espouse with a view to stay away from the large revenues tax many might want to pay of their own states. some have stated that their states nonetheless got here after them for taxes. A motorhome is many times no longer saved at an portion of abode, and many RVrs commute virtually all 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, so it truly is type of a lot less annoying. yet, in case you stay in a particular city/state, andpersistent and park in that city/state, you'll ultimately be stuck in case you're trying to save your motor vehicle registered out of state.

My father in law pays 4,000.00..It all depends on where you live. We do not have a state tax. But you will pay tax on items you buy
