C'est la vie! I wouldn't get upset. It's nice to be acknowledged but sometimes there is more than one answer or viewpoint to a question, so due to the fact that often multiple answers can apply, doesn't mean yours wasn't good or right. Just realize your answers don't need verification from others if you truly answered with truth and honesty. You already know what you believe in. Needing recognition is another matter. And if your opinion is not the one chosen, who cares? You don't agree with all other people in your life do you? If you need personal validation, look to yourself rather than others. We are not all going to see eye to eye on every topic. The range of human variations is far too wide to worry that you're not out front at all times. The times that we all think exactly alike at the same time on the same subjects would be a miracle to expect that to happen on a regular basis . Enjoy the different answers that are given. I don't think you should be seeing this as some sort of competition. Your answer will be best answer when it completely aligns and jives with the opinions and views of others. We all share differences of opinions on many things. What's right for someone else may not be right for you. Don't even bother feeling disappointed. Just a fact of life. We all are unique individuals. No one is more right or wrong than the other quite often. There are few things in this world that can be presented as being absolutely right, like the sun rises every day. We can all agree to that. But maybe not? What about those times in Iceland where they get sunlight for 24 hours for weeks at a time, would they answer the same as we would to that question? Could be yes, could be no!

Well, my atomic friend, let me encourage you. That goes away when you reach level 5. Honestly it does. But don't you sometimes have trouble picking best answer and want to give it to 2 or 3 different people? I think Yahoo is working on a way you can give 1st, 2nd place, et cetera. We'll see what happens tangerine flangerine.

I do, if my answer is deserving of best answer and someone else gets it for saying "Me too." or something like that. If there is a better answer and I get it, I'm disappointed that no one else but me voted! (I don't always vote for my answer; that was a joke)

no. I actually just vote for all my own answers. I've never had someone else give me a best answer.

No. People have various reasons to pick best answer so some of them don't make sense.
