if you mean in the drop down menu then just highlight what you want to delete and hit delete on your keyboard.

In Firefox:
Tools>Options>and under the Privacy tab:
Click the "clear now" under Private Data.

In Explorer:
Tools>Internet Options and under the "General" tab
Temporary Internet files:
Click Delete Cookies, AND Delete Files
History:
Click Clear History.

Try going to "tools" on an internet page, go to "options", then go to privacy. At the bottom you have privacy select options and you will see history, make sure it is ticked and then accept and then tick the option again and then delete. All your history should be gone. This may be a bit different depending on your browser, I use Firefox.
I also use a program to delete my history called WinCleaner as it is a lot easier to use.
There are many freebie programs set to do this also given away with Computer magazines.

Go onto Tools> Internet Options> then select Delete Cookies, delete files and Clear history!!

Ha, i exploit the arrows....... the buttons are stubby, regardless of the reality that, so that isn't any longer problem-free :0] Oh, that stinks- i don't have a mouse (trackpad) so i'd not understand what to do..... bake it some cookies and ask properly for it to come back out? lol :D

download and install window washer from webroot.com.It will erase all the INTERNET tracks for u.....CHEERS
