On occasions some text messages take up to one day from transmission. Is the server allowed by law to read personal texts.

It maybe the network provider is busy and can't handle the volume of traffic. yes it is allowed by law to read personal texts and beacuse for all they know you might be an Al- queda terrorst plotting a bombing campaign. so every text,call will be monitored for illegal activity.

It may be youe provider, maybe they are slow. I have alltel and I get my text messages one minute after they are sent, sometimes even less. I guess your provider might be slow unless you have alltel then maybe you are in an area with no signal or your phone could be messed up but I dought it.
