First distribute the negative sign:

(-x - 2)(x - 20)²

Next, square the (x - 20):

(-x -2)(x² - 40x + 400)

Next, multiply the (-x - 2) through the rest of the formula:

-x³ + 40x² - 2x² - 400x + 80x - 800

Finally, combine like terms:

-x³ + 38x² - 320x - 800

Edit: Steve is right. What I did was "reverse factoring."
