My apologies for everyone else who put you down.
I am an English Instructor.
If a student shows me respect, doesn't talk back or out of turn to disrupt the class (no smart-alec answers), has good attendance, and shows that he/she is putting forth his/her best effort, I will respect that student and help that student in every way that I can to pass the course legitimately.

Tell them you have made some mistakes this year and you are trying to do better. Ask the teacher what you can do to make them respect you. Do exactly what the teacher asks and be a leader/role model. If someone else is disrespecting the teacher, stand up for the teacher.

Formulate your question more sensibly...
If you want to show respect to your teacher you just show it or learn to respect him/her.

Well, for one, show that you are actually learning something in class. That sentence is all wrong. Are we skipping classes? It shows.....apparently since 3rd grade....
