what threat does it pose to me of the baby?

What it is, is your body sees the baby and a forein object or illness and tries to kill it. I think all that needs to be done is to get a couple shots...Ask your doctor to make sure!

You don't need to be real worried...my cousin has this and had a healthy baby...she found out after a miscarriage but she got a shot (just to help her body accept the baby) before her next pregnancy had a healthy baby and was given another dose of the same shot for a future pregnancy. If you don't know right away I think they just give you a shot before the birth and you should be fine...

It will pose a problem if u are not both Rh, blood supplies for this type of blood are very rare.

If you and the baby are both Rh- or both positive then none. If you are opposite it can be harmful to future pregnancies.
