U don't need ip address, just ping www.yahoo.com

type ping yahoo.com.
that will ping yahoo and tell you the IP being pinged

Yahoo has multiple I.P. addresses on multiple servers.
If you go to pcpitstop.com, there is a link for a ping test. Yahoo is one that they ping and it will say "various."
