well, some rap (not very much) actually has some musical value that it can contribute to the world. these days, people take others' music and rap to it, often simply repeating a word or phrase in a catchy manner that somehow appeals to the masses. it wouldn't be such a problem if they didn't make millions stealing music (i.e. ozzy osbourne) or using the same music over and over. the only advice, try to ignore it. difficult as it may be, the sad truth is it seems this mumbo jumbo is taking over the music scene, and it's hard to find good music anymore... the world is losing its mind.

Rap is actually very poetic...or it use to be.
It depends what artist you are listening to. Some have more of "club" songs like 50 cents, Chingy, lil John, Ludacris etc.
There's also many others who have messages they are trying to get across like Nas, Jay-Z, and Tupac. It's people who come into the music scene and can make a hit song by saying "shake that laffy taffy" that messes up rap for the artist who actually are very talented.

No, rap isn't just anyone talking in front of background music. The words must have a specific meter and rhyme and they have to match the beat of the music.

Some info on music history...
Rap IS an innovative genre of music which was created by afro-Americans in order to accepted as equal individuals with Caucasians and apparently they did it.
It's cultural identity.
With racist questions like that you only create enemies not friends...

i think of the "founding fathers" may be shocked that black men, and girls human beings of any shade have the the terrific option to vote (women human beings purely have been given the vote interior the early 1900s, by ways!). i actually, truly choose human beings might end viewing wellbeing care as a commodity and income-making organization. there is not something communist or socialist approximately making certain all your voters sturdy, much lower priced, accessible, finished wellbeing care. no person -- no person -- might desire to be compelled to go through or die because of the fact they won't be able to discover the money for the mandatory therapy. no person might desire to might desire to sell the kin homestead or circulate bankrupt to disguise scientific costs. Canada, France, Belgium, the united kingdom -- maximum of western Europe, if certainty be told -- all furnish styles of huge-unfold wellbeing care which, whilst not perfect (what's?) are a techniques, far extra advantageous (and lots much lower priced) than what at the instant might desire to be privately offered interior the U.S. And, the final time I appeared, education replace right into a state concern.

No. But thats my opinion. I think that it insults whoever listens to it. Rap and american pop music are probably the only genres i don't like.
But what gives you the right to lash out against everyone who likes it?

rap is not music. it's urban poetry (which blows goat balls as well) set to a rhythmic beat. early rap groups had people playing the instruments, but then that took time away from "smackin' up da ho's" and "keepin' it real", so they use drum machines, protools and swipe **** from long forgotten hits of the 1970's.
