have you looked in the tank? is the water up to the water level line marked on the back of the tank? if it isn't you may need to adjust the water level with the float or ball. is the flapper in good shape? the flapper allows the water "pressure" to enter the bowl for the flush. if it doesn't stay open long enough, you will have less flow for the flush. to 'test' if this is the problem; try holding the lever down when you flush, continue holding it until the flush has occurred, then release it. if this made for a good flush, the flapper wasn't adjusted correctly. if it still didn't work, you have a problem between the tank and the bowl, the tank gasket might be swollen, restricting the water entering the bowl. if it still doesn't work you can rebuild the 'guts' of the tank for about $50.00 and the toilet will work like new again. make a note of the brand of toilet you have and then visit a hardware or home improvement center. you will find the fill valve, flapper and pipe assembly, and tank mounting bolt and gasket kits there. read the installation instructions and determine if you are capable of doing this repair. if you don't think you can do it, consider getting a handyman, or a plumber. i have rebuilt about a half dozen of them and it is a fairly simple job. the kits come with great instructions and pictures showing you the steps to follow. if you have to replace one part in the tank, do them all so that you won't have to take it apart again later for another repair. good luck and hope this helps you fix it!

You have to buy what is called a surger. It is a bulb that attaches to the end of an outside water hose. You push the hose with the surger down into the toilet bowl (someone needs to be inside to make sure the pipes aren't leaking at the sinks so they can yell to turn the water off before the place floods if they leak). When the hose and surger are pushed in go out and turn the water on full. The surger does the rest. It swells and forces water down the pipe to open the clog up. After about 10 minutes turn off the outside faucet and pull the hose out. Now flush the toilet and see if it isn't better. If not, do it again. It should make the toilet run better. We use this handy gaget all of the time for every clog. It costs less than a plumber and that is all the plumber would do. They sell them at hardware stores where you buy toilets, faucets, plumbing and stuff.

Either you are not getting the water into the bowl fast enough. this is caused by your float sticking and not releasing the water fast enough or enough water into the bowl.
IOr yuuo have a blockage in your pipe or toilet trap which only allows the wate rout a little at a tiem. You would have to cleam out the trap amd maaybe flush the poipe.
If you buy one of those accordian type plungers from walmarts yuou can usually clear this up.
Sometimes the problem is in a pipe futher under the house or under the sod,. I fyou have a septic tank it could be the draion lines and tank need cleaniog.

If you have plunged the toilet and the water has gone down as normal, chances are the air holes under the rim have become clogged. If you look under the top rim of the stool you will see air holes around the perimeter. Clean with a small wire or brush and your toilet probably will flush fine. Water softener salt and irom deposits close the air holes up sometimes

If the pressure is o.k. in the rest of your house, it's the
toilet itself (especially if it's old) or the pipes beneath
which could be narrowed (galvanized pipes have this
problem over time) effecting the in-flow of water. Call
a plumber. If you need to replace the toilet, get a low-flush
model on your own...you'll save a lot of money.

you need to change the fittings in the cistern
the skin acts like piston ,if it's burst it's letting in water ,
so as you press the handle the pressure is not there to push the water out it's leaking back in to the fitting,,
if you know what i mean,,
