And you just keep telling yourself that, Sweetness. You are, indeed, a Lesbian and a lovely one at that. Hold your head up and look the World straight in the eyes. Yes, I know, it takes some courage to do so, but you'll get it.
No, it's not a phase and it's hard to find people to hang around with now, but you'll find people who will be like you. I want you to Love yourself because if you can't do that no one else can. If you can love yourself no one else can take it way from you.
A lot of us had to go off on our own and find ourselves again,; we spent a great deal of time alone. We understand.
And we love you. Blessings.

Because some adults are really children, at least mentally, and are stuck in the whole, "I'm right, you're wrong, blah blah blah", when the real issue is that everyone's different and they need to quit trying to fit everyone into convenient little pigeon holes just so their OWN lives will make more sense. Most of the people screaming and pointing fingers don't realize that they've got more problems than a honey-covered squirrel sunbathing on a fire-ant hill. Idiots and ignorance have persisted in surviving throughout the centuries, because the pesky things keep reproducing.

I'm not quite sure. But I will tell you that is part of the reason it is so hard to come out. We all fear that they won't still feel the same way they did before they knew. I never really came out. If someone sees me with a girl, and asks if I'm bi, I say yeah. I mean, why should we be the ones to come out? It's not wrong, and we don't regret it, so what's the point. It's not like we changed. We are who we are.

I said something very similar not long after I came out at 21.

Now I'm nearly 38, and I have to tell you, the social progress that has been made in 17 years is amazing.

We will get there... it will just take a while.
Stay strong, and stay politically active!

Would you tell a friend who is always speeding that they may get in trouble doing that?

In the same spirit, some people consider it their duty to inform you that what you are is against some laws they believe in, and they should war/change you.

Please say thank you for your concern and feel warm about people caring. They don't know any better, and are as much who and what they are as you are. (They are doing that for YOUR good you know!!!)

To me it is much more important to be a good human being, than to follow rules. As long as you are a good human being, everything else you do is unimportant!

I'm a grammarian. I tend to take exception to the confusion of "except" and "accept." However, when I draw this error to the attention of some of those who commit it, I am often accused of being arrogant and pedantic.

The world's a funny old place, isn't it?

There's nothing wrong with gay, lesbian or bi people (to me, anyway) But, some people just dont like the way people are sexually orientated.
