I was just wondering the concensus of all of the avid viewers of Grey's Anatomy after the information that has been brought to light by T.R. Knight (George) in regards to the homophobic remarks made by Isaah Washington (Preston)? Knight has openly adressed the rumor as being true that Washington indeed called him a f@g*t on set, as well as again at the Golden Globes. What is your opinion on this? I don't think that the right idea is to stop watching the show and therefore causing it to go off of the air, but do some of you think that there should be a resounding call for the removal of Washington from the show? I can't imagine as to why this should be tolerated, I just wanted your take on the situation.

Furthermore, if roles were reversed and it was Knight calling Washington a racist name, wouldn't Knight be off the show already?

Thanks for your imput, I am just curious as to what the feelings are about one of the actors on todays most popular show.

Just FYI, I think some of you are confused to the aspect fo this simply being gossip. If anyone saw T.R. Knight on the Ellen show this morning, it was obvious in his mannerisims and mode of speach that this is truly causing him pain. I feel for the guy, and I just wanted to state that he has outed Washington at this point and said that he is lying and that he was called a f@g*t by Washington. I don't think that is considered gossip when it comes directly from the horses mouth.

this is just my opinion and we all have one. Just some stink more than others.
I feel so sorry for T.R Knight. He did look like he was hurting on the Ellen show. I totally agree about you saying if Knight had made a comment about Washington, then he would have cried around about knight being racial. But I think that was a racial slur that washington made and he needs to be removed from the show. He was just in a fight not to long ago with Patrick Dempsey. So doesn't it sound like Washington is the problem!!!
I am straight but I have no judgement on someone who is gay.
If he doesn't want for people to call him the N word then he should respect those who are gay and not call them the F word.
Come Washington, show a little respect and don't let your small education overload your BIG mouth.

Truthfully I love the show and I hate all the garbage that the so called "reporters" have to say ... I'm not much of a gossip monger. I wasn't there ... don't know what really caused it or what's happened after that ... it's their business and just because someone butted into their business is not my problem. I'd rather just ignore that kind of junk reporting.

Now if T.R. or Isaah wants to post their version on Y!A then I'll give em what I think, until then I could care less about behind the scenes of any show or any personal news on any actor/actress We can't afford to lose a good show for the gossipy garbage. I hardly watch tv as it is.

As far as I know, Washington's supposed comment was made on the set. That makes it between them, and nothing that should be resolved in the media. Lots of people have to work with people they don't like or don't respect. They need to just be professional and either keep the job or leave it. I don't personally want to know any more about it. Washington did not call Knight anything at the Golden Globes, he attempted to explain what had happened. Even though he just made things worse, it's not exactly the same as what you said in your question. I think Katherine Hegl should follow her own advise and not speak in public.

As a person educated at HOWARD university, I cannot believe that washington doesn't realize the magnitude of words that degrade an entire group of people. And as someone educated, I find it hard to believe that he doesn't realize these are opinions better kept to one's self. And if it happens once, okay things happen...but a second time? Unexcuseable.

yeah i agree if it was the other way around knight would be off the show. we (as Americans) seem to tolerate gay jokes but not black jokes. i think it crazy. but on the other hand, i did hear that Washington apologized so whatever, it really isn't any ones problem but theirs. I dont want the show canceled though, i love it

It is much ado about nothing. The matter was over and some hack decided to dredge it back up. Let it die. The cast seems to have. Heigl was just saying that it should be let go.
