I need to know if it is blue or clear on the bottom because my PS2 doesn't read blue bottomed discs.

There's a way to fix that, I put white out on the inner circle of the bottom of the disc and that makes it read the blue disc.

i'd imagine that they both can play the PS3. I did some searching on the Sony PS3 internet website for ya and they do say that the 40 GB is like minded to play the PS2 video games besides the undeniable fact that it has some restricted ingredient on the equipment besides the undeniable fact that the internet website explains all of that for you. i'd bypass with the 80 GB besides the undeniable fact that in order that that you'll get the very perfect.

it should b clear cuz da 1st playstation 2 gamez dat came out was blue then they changed it 2 clear
