Any college that is attached to a hospital. Stanford, NYU, UCLA, are all good school. Just realize that it doesn't matter what Med School you go to to get your MD...you will still have to do a residency in surgery, and then other requirements to become baord caertified in cardiovascular surgery.

Talk with a few CV Surgeons in your area and see what they had to do. Chances are that times have changed since they went to school, but the basic requirements are about the same.

College? You mean undergrad? It really doesn't matter that much.

You have to get into a college, get the grades and courses needed to get into med school. After med school, you have to get into a good residency that has cardiovascular surgery as a program that will accept you.
