Now we can just "Star" questions we like? I don't know how I feel about that. Sometimes, I like slapping a thumbs down on really terrible questions.
What's the deal?

I guess some people just want us only to live in the "I'm OK, you're OK" world -- those terrible thumbs downs are just so hard on the self-esteem... so please everyone, don't even think about trying to tell me I'm ever wrong!!! -- O, just thinking about it is going to require some emergency sessions for me with my therapist

To many people cry about negativity. So they took away our choice to Show people how we truly feel about their questions, by taking away our ability and our right to respond in a negative manner to their question. It's the same reason kids in elementary school Don't get A's B's and so on and so forth. To many hurt feelings. To many people are just WAY to sensitive. Now, give this answer a big ol thumbs up! :-)

I think the reasoning behind it is because any random person can give your question a thumbs down for nothing and cost you points. Other then that, i liked the thumbs down myself...i guess too many people just abused it.

Too many people have given thumbs down to questions that are'nt bad because they dislike the person asking it. If you feel that a question is terrible you can just answer "thumbs down" like mr Capone did to your question.

I agree. What about when I want to Thumbs Down someone who makes racial slurs, or just asks a generally stupid question. I'm starring your question by the way out of spite for this new rule.

I agree. How can we show we don't like a Q besides reporting abuse. Sometimes it isn't bad enough to report abuse but it's BAD! I gave YOU a star, though. At least we can still (so far) thumbs up and down the peeps who answer!

Thumbs UP!!! I think if they must do the star thing, they also need to give us our thumbs. I REALLY miss the thumbs.

I know....people are just gonna star the heck out of stupid questions. I don't think this will work in which they were intending.
