Yes Sunnis don't like Shiites but if a sectarian war broke out across the entire Mideast meaning hundreds of millions of Muslims fighting each other it wouldn't take much for them to add the US/Israel into the fight. Kind of like what's happening in Iraq right now.

I think we would, the US / Israel alliance. The reason being because the scenario you proposed has many individuals fighting, it would have to be in the open. I think our enemies have learned that its retarded to challenge our armed forces in the open, that's why they hide in the cities, blend in and use guerilla tactics. These covert attacks don't do much to help them win, they just stir up political problems for the US (aka Bush's low approval rating). The only way they can win is if our citizens complain about the war to the point where a leader will be chosen that ends the conflict.

Israel would. they've defeated the Mideast Muslims at every turn the last 60 years.
in 1948, (might have been '47) 8, EIGHT Arab nations declared war on Israel, which was what, a year old at that point? who won? ISRAEL. they were outnumbered FIVE TO ONE. and the arabs lost and they've never forgiven Israel for it.
not to mention, if it looks like it's going badly, we could always drop some bombs on them. the Mideast Muslims don't have much in the way of fighter planes.

It is not easy to visualize all Muslims united. The Shia and the Sunni prefer to kill each others tha working together, and there are many other sects too
It is best for US to get out of the killing fileds

Wouldn't happen, Mideast Muslims hate each other don't you watch the news. Its not coalition forces blowing up markets and stores full of Muslims, its other Muslims.
