There are lots of possible causes for your tiredness, but it's not possible to diagnose you on this site. Underactive thyroid is certainly one possibility, as is anemia (which need not be dietary), but there are many others. One is obstructive sleep apnea, which interferes with the quality of your sleep. If anyone complains that you snore loudly, this is a strong possibility, and you should ask for a referral to a sleep clinic.

One possibility that often gets overlooked in standard medical exams is eyestrain. I once had a thorough medical workup for chronic tiredness, and all the tests were normal. I got new glasses and suddenly felt fine again.

There are some very serious diseases that have fatigue as an early symptom, so you really need to go for a medical workup and find out what the heck is going on. Being tired all the time is a serious matter because it keeps you from enjoying life. So don't be too tired to pick up the phone right now and make an appointment with your doctor. But do consider an eye exam as well.

Good luck!

unless you are hiding a secret thats killing you on the inside then see a professional nutrionist, just cos you eat healthy doesnt mean you are getting the right nutrients etc. go and look at www.myhealthabcmall.com under mens health and sport and fitness, if you aint sure what to get then email the owner (link is on there) and ask him, he knows his stuff and sorted me out after less than a month. good luck

I think it's the weather, since winter is more depressing to people. Since we see the sun less each day. I hear you on it, cause I feel really rundown right now too. I think it's just daily stress and winter getting you too. Good luck and take care!

If you like to sleep, just sleep. Enough sleep is good for your health. I wish I could sleep all day, but I could not. I am able to sleep only 5-6 hours/day and it makes me tired.

If you are depressed, check your blood pressure. High blood pressure makes people depressed, too. (It is true in my case).

Sugar makes you awake if you don't like to sleep.

You may have an underlying illness. Go and see a doctor and let them run some extensive tests on your liver and kidney function. I wish you luck.

Your iron level could be low and you could be anemic, have blood work run and that should tell you.
