I am recieving a promotion at work and since then , co workers have been going to the bosses and spreading rumors to discourage my promotion,My boss has told me he know they are lies. how would you handle your coworkers?

Be friendly and open with them. Show them that you work hard, daily. Talk to a few of them individually and share how you feel about the promotion. Share that you aren't a perfect human being, and that everyone can learn as a team.

be the bigger person and just ignore them. they dont sign your paychecks so anything they say is just talk. dont sink to their levels and show your boss your there to work and foccuss on your job, not deal with gossipers spreading lies. if it becomes an issue report it to your boss that they are harrassing you. if your boss does nothing, then climb the ladder in who to complain too.
