I would say that, but Carrie Underwood's career has skyrocketed since winning American Idol. And people are still so addicted to the show. I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon, unfortunately.

I love American Idol, my whole family watches it. I applaud these talented young people for making an effort to do something positive. I think all of the idols have been great. Sorry, I just cannot agree with you on this one. SW

carrie underwood and kelly clarkson are the 2 successful winners. the others haven't come out with big albums as of yet.

Also have you heard Mario Vasquez, he's damn good. They just need to drop Paula and Randy and find GOOD Judges.
