Well when i had my first Daughter i was only off the pill for a month and my doctor said that is about how long it takes for the pills to get out of your system.

Once you go off the pill you can get pregnant right away, even before you have a period. If you get pregnant in the first three months after you go off the pill you are at a slightly increased risk of miscarriage, but no increased risk for maternal or fetal health problems.

I don't believe there is any set time. Some will say a year and others like my daughter-in-law got pregnant right away after she quit taking it. If you are comfortable with, and thinking of starting a family, then you should simply quit taking the pill now. Good Luck!
