People should really be better informed on this.
Ovulation causes you to release an egg. If that egg goes unfertilized your start your period to flush out that egg and the lining of your uterus.
Mind your if your pregnant the new baby is attached to your uterine lining....so if you had a period you would have a M/C!
When your pregnant ovulation stops!!!! Therefore you get no egg....there is no need for one your already preggo.
No you can NOT have a true period while pregnant but YOU can have bleeding and that's not really considered normal. If you are pregnant and are bleeding you should see a Dr.
Here is some sites saying the same thing I am but goes into more detail..

Take a being pregnant try, that is truly uncommon, yet there are females who say that they had sessions even as they were pregnant,i do no longer see how this plausible regardless of the reality that, once the infant is interior the womb the body would not deliver down yet another egg might want to it?

You can bleed while pregnant, although it's not a real period. I'd take a test to be sure.

You don't have your "period" and still be pregnant, but you can bleed while pregnant. Anytime you bleed you should consult your gynecologist.

Yes you can. It would more than likely be somewhat of an irregular period but you can.

yes! But bleeding (as you know) can also be a sign that something is wrong, so go see a doctor immediately.

I HAD MY PERIOD THROUGHOUT MY WHOLE PREGNANCY, BUT IT WAS NOT HEAVY IT WAS LIGHT AND SOMETIMES JUST SPOTTING. SO MAYBE YOU SHOULD CONSULT A DOCTOR AND FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON.
