Democrats believe that there is a power imbalance between the individual and the powerful and wealthy, and the government should act to preserve the rights of the less powerful, because without that protection the economy suffers. The middle class is a result of Democrat policies.

Republicans believe that government constraints upon the wealthy and powerful hamper the economy and that individuals should fend for themselves (they call it "personal responsibility")- their image of America goes back a century ago to the low-wage workforce and the Robber Barron's.

Some of the Democrat accomplishments Republicans would like to end are Social Security, the Envoronmental Protection Agency, Consumer Rights, and Labor Unions.

Republicans are (supposedly) for small government and allowing business to operate with few restrictions. Democrats tend to believe that society needs to take care of the under trodden. Neither actually fulfill their claims.

Republicans are in bed with corporations and big business. Yet have managed to fool the middle class into thinking that they are on their side. They worship profit and wealth for the few

Democrats are for the average American and believe that our government should be a positive vehicle for making our lives better. They care about people and want all Americans to advance.

One major difference is that the Dems tend to be more for the little guy, while the Repubs are more for goverment controls.

Republicans want to take your money and give it to really rich people.

Democrats want to take your money and give it to people who don't work.

Republicans think killing a baby - even if it is still inside its mother - is murder.

Democrats think killing babies that are inside their mothers is OK - even if the baby is a few seconds from being born.

That's pretty much it. They are all corrupt, and really don't care about how most people live, as long as they vote for them.
