Does the equation follow hierarchy of operations? i.e is it:
y = 1/(x-2) or
y = 1/x - 2
Regardless, this is basic plug and chug:

Assuming that y = a million/x - 2; we get the values of y as follows: y = a million/- 2 - 2 = -a million/4 y = a million/ -a million -2 = -a million/3 y = a million/0 - 2 = -a million/2 y = a million/a million - 2 = -a million/2 y = a million/2 - 2 = infinity y = a million really sorry, yet i can't make a graph right here.

Swap the x for those numbers
eg: 1/(-2)-2 = 1/-4 = -0.25
