Okay, so I don't mind the new "stars" but I really wish we still could rate questions.
So my question is, how can we get them back? Is there any way to tell customer service we don't like this?
If everyone else loves the stars, can we have both? Stars and thumbs up don't necessarily mean the same thing. If you thumbs up a question, it wouldn't go on your page or anything.
Anways, I just want my thumbs back, and I know a lot of you do too, so how can we get them?

There is a ritual...but it is dangerous.
On the next full moon you have to make a bonfire and place your laptop on a pedestal in the middle of the bonfire, real high where the flames won't get it. Once your laptop is there with yahoo answers open you start chanting and going around the bonfire, if you have a yahoo answers gift (mug, cap or sweatshirt) you have to swing it in the air and up and down while you say the following words:
Yahoo yahoo yooo, yahoo yahoo yooo, take the stars bring the thumbs, take the stars bring the thumbs...yahoo yahoo yooo, yahoo yahoo yooo, rate me more, bring the thumbs, rate me more, bring the thumbs.
Repeat until the moon is way high in the sky or until your neighbors call the police.

(sorry hon...it seems that wether we like it or not, stars are here to stay).

This new star system is a pile of crap...because everyone and anyone can and will click on anything they want...so then what?

Maybe it's meant to take the negativity out of it and just get people to vote on HOW positive a question it is...but I don't get how it's supposed to work.

Is it a rating system? I just don't see the purpose really.

And yes...does anyone else wonder about why these questions are not deleted and how easy it is to get a profile on you! Woo hoo...sci fi has caught up to the world.

Yahoo will gladly turn over your info to the government I am sure too.

Ya, I hears'ya. . .
wishing we could still rate questions too, and without traceability!

I'm thinking that this whole star-system is a set up for brownie-point users. . . And who can blame them either, we all want the points, and so, I'll star you next. . . : )

But really, we can try the yahoo forum I spose. . .

idk the thumbs were taken off the questions, but the answers still have thumbs so if you keep answering you will not miss your thumbs lol
