Yes, Alcoholics Anonymous. They have 24 hour meetings and hotlines to help you. They will not be judgmental and you will find friends with similar problems there. If you like they will help you get a "sponsor", i.e. friend who will be there for you that you will not have to be ashamed to call or admit your problems to.

I haven't any idea of where you are located but if you where to look in the yellow pages you could probably find a counselor there. Or you may be able to talk with some friends who may know of a good counseling agency, or else contact a hospital in your area and they would have access to this type of resource. Another suggestion would be to speak with your family doctor and he would more then likely be able to give you the name of someone to go to for help. Best of luck in finding a good counselor and in cleaning up.

Well we don't know where you are located. I think it's great you know you need help. Look in the phone book under Addiction or Counselors-Drug ... or call your county offices and ask .... most counties have places where you can get help. I hope you follow through.

First step is to strongly desire help. Do you have family around? Check your phone book for a local help/crises line. I wish you success!!!

Call your local hospital and ask if they have any support groups available for your situation.
