Here, this should help you out a bit. This is a list of the best and worst times to go to Walt Disney World, the times of lowest and highest attendance. This information's directly from the Walt Disney World website, so it can be trusted. There's also a list of which days are the busiest at each of the four theme parks...

"Lowest Attendance: January (except New Year's Day) until just prior to Presidents' week in February
The week following Labor Day until just prior to Thanksgiving week
The week following Thanksgiving until the week prior to Christmas

Moderate Attendance: After Presidents' week in February through early March
Late April through early June (except Memorial Day weekend)
The first part of Thanksgiving week

Highest Attendance: Presidents' week in February
Mid-March through Late April ("Spring Break")
Memorial Day weekend
Mid-June through Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day and weekend
Christmas week through New Year's Day

During regular attendance periods the Theme Parks tend to be the busiest on the following days:
Magic Kingdom Park: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday
EPCOT: Tuesday and Friday
Disney-MGM Studios: Sunday and Wednesday
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday"

I usually go to Walt Disney World in August because it's the most convenient time for me. I don't find it to be too busy or crowded then, but others might, and, of course, it's very hot during August. I've also been during the second week of November and it was wonderful. The crowds were very minimal and the weather was perfect.

Hope I could help! Have fun!

I have been to Disney World 5 times and I have been there in October, November, December and February. I like December the best. It is all decorated for Christmas, and the characters are wearing Christmas costumes. Mickey has a "Very Merry Christmas Party" that is great...it snows on Main Street and they give out free hot chocolate and cookies, and they have a special Christmas parade for the people at Mickey's Christmas party. In the beginning of December they also tape the Christmas Day parade that airs on ABC on Christmas morning. While you are there I would suggest a "Keys to the Kingdom" backstage tour. It is very informative. I would also suggest to go to the Cirque Du Soleil La Nouba show in Downtown Disney...it is the best circus you will ever see. We have stayed at the All Star Music resort, the Contemporary Resort, Caribbean Beach resort, and the Coronado Springs resort...my favorite was the Coronado Springs resort, there is alot to do there and I love the Pepper Market.

My prefered months are March and October. The weather is nice and warm, but not unbearable and the crowds are low to non-existent! Here is a basic rule of thumb of when to visit:

late January - early May
late September - mid December

Be sure to avoid weekends and holidays.

Also check out Disney World's official website at: www.disneyworld.com to see when special events are going on. For example, the international food and wine festival or the garden show at EPCOT. While these are great fun to attend - they can bring in more crowds. So if you really want to avoid crowds, avoid special events.

The weather will be warm, very warm. You will probably experience a afternoon rain shower too. But, Disney has many places to cool down. The Baby Stations (next to first aide) are not just for kids (babies). They are clean comfortable places to lounge, watch Disney movies and play with all the new toys Disney sells. Bring and wear, sunblock and comfortable shoes. Disney is selling Crocs throughout the parks. Buy the cheap plastic rain ponchos before you go. Carry them in your pack or pocket. If it rains you are set and do not have to buy a $13+ poncho from Disney. Also the poncho can double as a space saver. I use mine to sit on during parades or fireworks shows. A hour before a parade or show, I laid down my poncho, grab food & drinks and sit down for the wait! Pack a deck of cards too! Playing a game of cards while waiting in line sure helps pass the time way!! I am a 63 time visitor to Disney and I am a Disney vacation Planner. Have a ball!

A family I know just got back from Disney this weekend. It was 80 degrees and not crowded at all---no lines or very short ones. They did take their two daughters out of school to go though. This same family has gone there in November between Thanksgiving and Christmas and that is also a great time. The summer months are disgustingly hot and very very crowded.

If you want to go to Disney, I would suggest going in Aug, Sept, and Oct. Those are their slow months so the lines will have 5 min or less wait time, and that's only because that's how long it will take you to get up there. There's also no mondo crowds of people all over the place. If you're planning on going during the summer, bring LOTS of water (FL summers are too hot) and be prepared for ride lines to be 1hr+.

I have been in April, January, and October. The least crowded by far was January. We felt like we were alone in the parks. The drawback was the weather. Early on it was in the 80s and at the end of the week it was in the 50s. October is getting more crowded, and the weather is sometimes pretty hot. April was very crowded because of all the people on spring break.

Actually to tell you the truth Christmas time was perfect.

Temperature was around 75 F.

All I needed was a light jacket or sweatshirt. Swam outside on Christmas Eve.

The crowds were not bad at all. There was hardly anyone there!

Perfect time in my opinion.

My 5 person family went April 27-May 3rd. Not too heavy, not too empty. Epcot is gorgeous that time of year because of the flower festival. They make characters out of flowers there. Beautiful sight! It didn't rain one day!
