Can I use something other than Dell cartrages in my Dell All in One?

No you are wasting your money I bought one of those ink kits to refill the cartridge and it just leaked and said empty, Dell has sewn the market on their products you can't even go to an office supply place to buy dell cartridges. They are expensive I know they don't seem to last very long either. I am curious about this question also but I don't want to ruin my printer.
