I am not sick. No fever. All toxemia and preeclampsia tests are negative, blood work is PERFECT, BP normal...

But the past two or three days I have felt like I have the flu almost. Only not sick. I have a little appitite, get the runs from time to time, otherwise iam stopped up as usual.

I just feel like iam at the completely end of my physical ability. Everything hurts. When i sleep at night its like iam in a fever or something, in the sense that iam not really sleeping. I wake up sooo exhausted.

I know you feel crappy in the last weeks... but honestly, is it supposed to be this absolutely horrible? I just want to cry all day because my body feels so wretched.

Lost plug 2 weeks ago, effaced, and started dilating as of 1.5 weeks ago (havent been checked since). Strong contractions for a few weeks, but nothing these last two-three days.

I just cant imagine this possibly going on until 42 weeks (if i happen to go over my due date a while before they do something). I really dont think i cant survive that freaking long.

Time to call your Dr. Perhaps he/she can break your water or induce you if all is looking well. No reason to continue to be this miserable. Your sanity is worth more at this point. Yes, you can get pretty crappy at the end, but you are not going to be doing yourself or your new baby any favors by getting so depleted you cant function. Call your doctor - now!
Good Luck Dear!

I know what you are talking about, I am going through the samething. I am due on the 19th and it feels like this baby will never come out. Went to the doctors yesterday and am still 3cm, have been that way for over 3 weeks. The doctor stretched my cervix, hoping this would put me in labour. Well I am still at home with some contractions but nothing seriouse. If I don't go into labour before my next appointment which is the 23rd then she will schedule me for a inducment. I told her that all she has to do is break my water, but she said I have to be 1 week over due for that. Hope it helps to know that someone else is just as uncomfortable and feeling crappy as you. It is all normal, and your body is getting ready to go into labour. Lets just hope that you don't end up like me and stalled at 3cm. Hope it all goes well.

Congratulations, I was wondering when you'd have that baby! Yes, it's completely normal to be going through that. I would wake up every night 2-3 times before I had my son. It was so irritating and I'd have such a hard time getting to sleep. I also had evening sickness which lasted up until the day I had him. Another thing I hated was when he'd get stuck somewhere--behind my hip, in my ribs, or laying on my back bone. Just do your best, get some rest, try to walk (to naturally induce labor), and drink lots and lots. I'm sure the worst is going to be over yet. Good Luck and let us know when you have that baby!

It'll be over soon!! I felt crap in the last days before my baby. The night before I was due I thought I had food poisoning, but I've since learned that it's more likely my body was preparing for labour (ha!) I was unlucky enough to get induced at that point and spent the next 4 days in hospital in pre-labour (yeuch).

Try taking warm baths or showers to ease the pain and get as much rest as you can - you're going to need every ounce of energy you can muster...

If you're still concerned, make an appt to see your doctor or obgyn or whoever it is you see in the US.

I would not opt for having your waters broken. Once they do that, you have 24 hours to get the baby out or they do a ceasarian!

Good Luck!!

I am actually due on the 24th, I am feeling all the same symptoms as you are. I am pregnant with my 3rd baby but my first 2 were early so I have never been prego. this far. These last few weeks are new to me. I did however go in for another U.S. on Friday, to check babies weight and fluids because of 2nd pregnancy (low fluid levels) I was told my baby was over 8 lbs. and If I get any bigger they cant guarantee a vaginal delivery. So my doc. scheduled me to be induced thurs. evening. talk to your doc. see what they or you can do to get things going, there are things like walking and having sex that can get labor going, even though they never worked for me everyone is different..

im telling you, this right here worked on starting labor in both my kids and a friend of mine. so try taking a hot bath, relax and stay in there awhile, turn on all sides, and soak for at least over an hour... light candles and do as much relaxing as you can..... i did this, then walla!! went to the hospital within 6 hours and was in labor both times, i think in a way its gods way of knowing, ok, i relaxed as much as i could so now give me a life time of roller coaster activities and everything that is not relaxing ♥ CONGRATS! i was also wondering ive seen you on here several times....

Relax you won't go over your due date. If you are dilated and due very soon, you will go very soon. Have sex or do some walking maybe that will bring on labor. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you as I will be looking forward to this very soon.
