what and were is a jagged pass in pokemon emerald?

I asked:
In pokemon emerald, i have a level 56 swampert. I am stuck in lilycove city, when i go to the aqua hideout the guy asks me if i am team magma and then asks me if i know there hideout. They tell me that team magma are trying to awake a pokemon on a mountain. But anyways, they block the area so i cant get in.

First you need the Magma Emblem. I believe you would have gotten it from someone at the top of Mt. Pyre (which is close to Lilycove). Once you have the Emblem, head back to Mauville City and head to Mt. Chimney then go down the way you would if you were going to Lavaridge. The path there is the Jagged Pass. That's where you'll find Magma's hideout. Once you go down the Jagged Pass with the Emblem for the first time, there will be a cutscene which opens up the entrance to their hideout so the second you see a cave opening while going down, that's the entrance to their hideout. You need a Pokemon that knows Strength in order to travel around in the hideout.

NOTE: If you need help finding Mt. Pyre then here's what you do. You would have seen the Safari Zone entrance while you were coming from Fortree to Lilycove so go to where you saw the Safari Zone entrance building and you'll see a dock of some kind there so use Surf to go south on the water a little bit then go east. You'll eventually come across a cave entrance so enter it. If you see nothing but ghost Pokemon in the area then you're in the right place.
