I know it sounds cold, but if low-income families can't afford to give their loved ones a proper burial, why not have it paid by Pepsi, SONY, Toyota, etc.. Ok, if a casket has a big Pepsi logo on it, that is not near as bad as a person being just thrown into the ground. Play a few commercials before the funeral starts and no one will be the wiser. There are several advertising opportunities that a family could use to bury their loved ones.

Oh, that's terrible. I'm sure you would not like that for yourself, so why for other people? Just because the family needs money it does not mean they are looking for a hand-out, or have no respect for their loved ones. In reality, it cheapens the life of the person who just passed on. No corporation would touch the idea with a ten foot pole.
