Supposing in mexico ; donkeys, burritos, tacos. Or arab Nations ; camels. France ; bagguete, eiffle tower. I dont believe that. I asked this question because my friends in mexico say " Do they ride camels in qatar? "

Because the stereotypes make them instantly identifiable. It's not necessarily right or fair, but then, most cartoons aren't exactly made for Nobel prize winners.

Cartoons in general are about exaggeration. That includes certain traits that are commonly identified with people belonging to a particular group. Some of an element of truth in them while others are simply disregard or lack thorough research on other cultures. Non-animated television programs and movies also have their share of stereotyping, some noticable than others.

who cares..it's just a cartoon..If i were to make a cartoon about japan..i would make them wear japanese street wear and eat sushi...and if make one about africa i would make them take a safari..and with america i would make them have a BBQ grilling burgers and hot dogs..

i mean what are the supposed to draw to be sOo safe to not be concidered stereotyping? either way its always going to have some kind of stereotype in it..
