My boyfriend and I went out to a bar last night to play pool with a friend who is moving out of state next week and we programmed our VCR to record the show. Apparently, the stupid machine didn't want to record the show because when we tried to play it back we just got static. So, what did I miss?

Terrible show.. committing way way too much time to the losers that just wanted to be seen on TV. We get it .. We get it.. William Hung made money by being bad..and you want to as well....
The time not spent on bad auditions was spent on commercials.. I honestly think the show would have been less than one hour if commercials were taken out (that reminds me to invest in that Tivo thingy..lol)
A couple of good singers.. A sweet little black chick that was a self proclaimed "crack baby". I personally didn't like her singing..but loved her personality (she yelled most of her song, imo) A 16 year old boy that had a great voice..but the zit on his nose was extremely distracting to his talent. A chick that acted like Shakira.. she had a decent voice..but her latin accent kept coming and going.. it was kind of funny.
and my favorite, a girl named Sarah.. not beautiful ..not unattractive.. but she had a very pure voice and I found myself wanting to hear more.. which I can't say for any of the other performers.
That's my take on the evenings show.. hope it helps.

there were a lot of bad singers. one girl sang like the lion in the wizard of oz, which was weird. there was a vocal teacher who couldn't sing and randy told him to give all his students their money back. there was a 16 year old who sang great and she was born a crack baby. a few people ran out cursing the judges. a bunch of people tried to sing kiss by prince and they were all awful. there was a girl from columbia who made it to the next round.
overall it was a bunch of really bad singers with a very select few who could actually sing.

Paula Abdul sober, Randy being the designated grinch for a change, and a ton of posers who don't know the words to songs, and use more keys than a locksmith.

Well you didnt miss anything....They sucked. I think they said 17 people out of like 10,000 got picked in Minneapolis.
It was kinda funny though

i watched the first 30 seconds and it put me to sleep the most boring show on the face of the earth

Nothing much.. Just a bunch of really over-confident, tone deaf people.
Though, they are pretty darn entertaining!!

It was just auditions in Minneapolis, Minnesota, they didn't find many ppl in that city. The auditions were pretty hilarious though!
