I used to think that America hating Communists and far left socialist liberals were in a minority, even on a place like Yahoo Answers. But check out the responses and the ratings to the responses to this question and tell me there aren't a huge number of Yahoo users that hate America and everything it stands for to its very core. I challenge you.

I dont know about the people that answered that question however there are a few on here that definitely do. most of the time they will say they dont hate this country however they want to change everything about it. Its like the old adage of women and men, men love their women for who they are, women love there men for who they think they can make them.

Nope, it has to do with Yahoo and their lies to sell ads. They delete, or suspend accounts in the hopes you will do what most people do simply open another account. Those accounts, both your old and any new account, are given to the advertising department to deceive advertisers into thinking Yahoo has more subscribers than they actually have. In the ad game the more potential customers the more the ad costs. So if Yahoo can deceive their advertisers into thinking they have many more potential customers, Yahoo can charge more for the ads. It is not illegal but not really ethical in my humble oppinion. If this desturbs you why not email some of the advertisers, as I have, and as others have, and let them know what Yahoo is up to. Writing letters doesn't help as Yahoo just laughs at you. When their sources of revenue are affected a company learns to change their ways in a hurry. With the recent scandal over dealings with Communist China, Yahoo can hardly afford any more scandal. Another thing someone might want to do is to send a copy of the email to an investigative reporter at a TV station too. Many people on both sides have had accounts suspended recently and no reason was given. To show Yahoo they can't treat people that way I urge you to act and act now. You could be next.

First I checked your link and it took me to your question about Castro...did I miss something on how this relates to people hating The US?

I have know doubt that many Y users hate the US and most can't cite a reason other than something they have heard or read about of simply because most of us are infidels. Three years ago I would never have thought I would ever go to the middle east...I was prejudice without reason about the middle east. After that I lived there for 2 years....enjoyed it and met a lot of kind, generous people. I intend to return. And yes I spent time working in Iraq while over there.

If people want to hate America there isn't anything I can do to change their minds. And at this point in time, I don't care if they hate us without knowing us. Not my problem; it's their problem. Just as when I thought I would never have reason to go to the middle east.

I'm not sure if you're talking about people who are citizens or are from other countries. If you're talking about residents of other countries, I chalk it up to jealousy. They're jealous of our power. They're jealous of our greed. But hey, it come's with the territory. The king of the hill is always going to be despised. What gets me is that they use an American invention (the computer) to get onto another American invention (the internet), go to an American website (Yahoo) , using American software (Windows or Mac) to tell us how dumb we are and how much they hate us. If they want to do this, why don't they go to their own countries forum, listed at the bottom of this page. But don't worry people of the world, we will continue to fight for justice and freedom regardless of how much you criticize us. We're the only ones who can.

If you're talking about citizens of this country (the "Blame America First Crowd"), well, that's a little harder to understand. For the most part, I think they are just uninformed or they just don't know the dangers that we face. They take what they hear from the media as gospel. Personally, I don't see them as some great threat but rather as necessary for a healthy democracy. It's not a bad thing to question the government, as long as the answer is correct.

I really don't think there are many who hate America and those that say they do aren't using logic as a basis for their position. They are merely uninformed followers who are jumping on a bandwagon and have no idea where it's going.

A lot of us are disappointed with the direction America took a few years back. The world always looked up to the USA as an ideal of what a nation should be.

It's kinda like when you were a kid and you viewed someone as a hero only to find later on that that person's character was badly flawed.

I for one do not hate America and I do live here. I think you maybe looking at this the wrong way in the sense that if someone disagrees with a policy then they are anti-American which is so far from the truth. The truth is that if we see something wrong we as Americans should question it. That doesnt make them anti-American. In your world you would have everyone believing as you do and no one could give their opinon on anything or they would be anti-American

In spite of its flaws, there is no other nation on this planet, I would prefer to be citizen of--maybe Holland. You see we are no more tyrannical than the Communist, we are no more Colonial than the Imperialist were and no more dysfunctional than the extremist are.
How is it that, all these people enjoying the American way of life are so Anti-American. There only a few places where a citizen can openly disrespect their form of government.I enjoy our right to agree to disagree in America, while I pursue my own way. I challenge you to see the beauty of this nation and its way of life.

So if you're against hate ,why are you promoting it? The U.S.A. has plenty to be hated for.I however live here a think it's great to live in the most powerful country in the history of the World.
You or anybody else that hates America has that right (if you're a citizen of a country that allows you rights) & more power to you.
All the same,& no offense intended, I don't care if you hate my Country

It may surprise you to find out that it is much easier to hate a communist dictatorship than it is a free and prosperous country.
Yes there are those that hate this country but I think that there are not as many as hate dictatorships.

I do NOT hate my country!!!! It's just the corrupt politicians and lawmakers and judges that are hell bent destroying it that I hate. And the ignorant voters that keep voting these people into office. I would not want to live anywhere else but America.
