The Microphone is not working after i installed MS Office 2007. The SR tab is also missing in the Speech Page.

When i clicked the Speech icon in Control Panel i just found the Text to speech tab. The Speech Recognition tab is missing. Please help me out. Is it because of MS Office or is there any other problem.

Was it working before you installed Office? The installation should not have affected it. Try clicking on your little speaker in the lower right hand corner, then look for the microphone part - see if it has been muted.
