I think people need to be fairly satisfied with their job because you spend a lot of time at the job. Also, sometimes the job follows you home. I think it can also impact your attitude and your mood.

I think it is important for the people close to me to be satisfied with their job as well. They would be happier..and I would be happy for them.

1. I think it depends on the person in question tbh. Some people are happy or comfortable rather in any job as long as there getting some sort of income. Not everyone is going to get there dream job, so they just have to settle for what they can get.

Although i do think if your not entirely happy or satisfied with the job your doing then it can affect other things. Your mood, stress levels, depression .. amoung other things and it can cause problems. So on that point i would say it is pretty important that you are satisfied in your job. Although there is always the option of finding a better job in which you are satisfied.

1. Every day there are millions of people who wake up wishing that something awful would happen so that they would not have to go to work. Wishing for something awful? What kind of place would you be forced to work in where something awful is better than being there?! Of course satisfaction in the workplace is important! Probably the most important. Hence the phrase "dream job". In order for you to be happy in other areas of your life, you job must make you happy as well. i.e. "bringing your work home with you". This would be OK if its something that you don't mind. But if you are not satisfied with your job than bringing that work home will create a downward spiral on your life outside of work.
2. you can love your job all you want, but when the three people you work next to are miserable and not carrying their own workload, it falls back on you. Say you work in a restaurant. There are 3 waiters/waitresses and 2 dishwashers that you work with closely. Say, you are the cook. Well, 2 of the waiters/waitresses hate doing their work. They are slow on taking orders and they talk all night long and are always late on their breaks. 1 of the dishwashers is the same, they never keep up with the work and always complain. You cannot make your orders to be served if the waiters/waitresses don't bring them to you, and what do you cook it in or serve it on if the dishwasher isn't there??! The other dishwasher gets behind, the 1 waiter/waitress that is up to their job has to wait because your orders are piling up due to the 3 people who won't do their job. Everyone and everything is linked. As for people outside of your work? Your friends will be more likely to want to do activities and be involved with the community if they are happy with what they do for work, just like yourself. Its important for your friends and family to be satisfied to create a happy environment for you and them to interact and be interactive. happiness is contagious and spreads like wildfire among those who are open to receive it.

it depends on the job... and whether you are asking about ure job or our job... for me i love my job

1. It is very essential that i be satisfied with my job, i work as a paige in a library... because it is proven that people who do not like their job have a habit or their work habits drop. They are doing something that they do not like... and thus making them unhappy and less productive. You should have a job that makes you feel good and makes you happy.

2. If my coworkers were not happy with their job.. they would most likely take it out on me or others for they are unhappy. So, this is very important that my coworkers are happy because then their is an air of happiness.

It's hard to get up in the morning if you hate your job. Your job affects other areas of you life, like how happy you are outside of your job. If your job is dragging you down, start looking for a new one.

Success is what everyone is trying to acheive. If you like your job you will be willing to learn it better then anybody else and you will have success. That is why it is important to be happy in the job you do.
